Karan Johar apologises to Thackeray

 Bollywood film producer Karan Johar today apologised to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray for using 'Bombay' instead of 'Mumbai' in his film 'Wake Up Sid' and assured that he will insert a disclaimer in the film.

Following MNS activists stopping screening of the film, objecting to the use of Bombay in the film, Mr Johar met Mr Thackeray at his residence and tendered apology.

He assured that the disclaimer would be inserted at the beginning of the film.

Mr Thackeray told Mr Johar that the Film Producers Association should be informed that this type of mistakes should not be repeated in future. If it recurs, MNS will not allow screening of such film across the state, he said.
